Obviously havent tried everything but this place is slightly more Americanized in terms of flavor compared to the other Korean restaurants.
That's not a negative, just an observation. Good atmosphere and good service. -

The food here is amazing. It's comparable to the best Korean restaurants that I've been to in Houston and other cities. Very surprised to find it here in College Station.
Highly recommend the spicy pork and kimchi pancake. -

Pretty average Korean food in my book, which in this area of Texas probably exceeded expectations. But even average Korean food is still pretty good overall.
I tried a jjampong cause I was in the spicy soup kind of mood and wasn't feeling soondubu. And it had pretty good flavor overall - good amount of seafood, vegetables, spicy broth that wasn't overpowering and just enough chewy noodles. But definitely nothing super special either. The banchan that comes with the meal is pretty standard assortment of dishes (fish cake, kimchi, potatoes, sprouts) but likewise forgettable.
Does the job if you're in the Korean mood but nothing more than that for me. -

Visited Mong Chon for the first time in a couple of years. The place has been completely redecorated and is gorgeous, updated, and still authentic. The service was very nice, and the food is delicious! Definitely the best Korean in town. I usually go to BCS market, however I'm almost always told the korean chef isn't there, so we decided to go here. The restaurant is very clean, and they offer many traditional korean dishes to get you out of your comfort zone! The prices are a bit more expensive than BCS but they give you the sides/rice with it unlinke BCS. They gave us these cute yogurt drinks at the end of the meal (kind of like how you get mints at American restaurants). They are definitely an acquired taste but a very cute gesture. We will definitely be picking this place as our new go-to for Korean food.

I love this place. I've been 3 times since moving back to the BCS area and all 3 times I have left super happy. I've had the bibimbap and the bulgogi (pictured), have tasted the chicken teriyaki, pork cutlet (SO GOOD), and samgyeopsal. The banchan is delicious and they are happy to bring out more if you run out.
After dinner they bring you one of the little yogurt drinks and it's the perfect mix of sweet and tart that I actually will drink it.
The staff are super nice. They're not overly attentive but know when to come check on you.
Please give this place a try if you're in the area. It's small and mostly empty, but the food is delicious and worth it.
